Meet Elizabeth: A Wise and Youthful Spirit

Elizabeth isn't your typical 41-year-old. She has a spark that makes her seem younger than her age. The years have not only gifted her with age but also with wisdom and experiences that have shaped her into the person she is today. Despite the passage of time, Elizabeth finds herself feeling more in touch with her true self now than she ever did in her younger years.

What's really cool about Elizabeth is how she brings together the wisdom that comes with age and the liveliness of youth. She's learned a lot over the years and doesn't feel like life has rushed her. Instead, she's embraced every moment, and that's a lesson we can all learn from.

“My name is Elizabeth. I’m 41 years old. I really don't feel like my age at all. I always have felt delayed in life and I’m just enjoying the wisdom I've learned I’ve acquired over the years and still being mistaken for being much younger than I am currently. A lot of times I feel like I know myself better now than I did when I was 21. So, I am enjoying getting being able to be more myself and the experiences I'm getting.” – Elizabeth Parrish

Breaking Age Stereotypes: The Age Campaign

Elizabeth decision to participate, chose to do something different by having a portrait session that doesn't follow the usual rules about age. The Age Campaign is all about showing that age is just a number. Elizabeth's message is that turning 40 doesn't mean you can't feel and look amazing. She's here to inspire others to feel good about their age.

“I wanted to bring something different, something unconventional, just showing that just because you're 40, you don’t necessarily have to look your age. I certainly still feel like I'm in my twenty’s a lot of the time, other than body pains and everything else.” - Elizabeth Parrish

Capturing Dreams in Pictures: Elizabeth's Portrait Session

Elizabeth's portrait session isn't just about taking pictures; it's about showing who she really is. She's excited to turn her dreams into images and share her inner self. She wants to feel beautiful in her own skin and hopes these photos will help her do just that.

From a photographer's perspective, working with Elizabeth was a true delight. Seeing her embrace life and radiate positivity at 41 was inspiring. I wanted to capture not just her appearance, but her spirit – that unique core that makes her who she is.

“I wanted to have a photo session where I feel like I could bring something that I've dreamt about to images to feel more like myself. And I feel like I haven't been able to really experience that type of photography before or to feel that beautiful in that way.” - Elizabeth Parrish

Embracing Insecurities and Finding Strength

Elizabeth isn't pretending to be perfect. She's open about her worries, especially about her body size. But she's not letting those worries stop her. She's been working on feeling better about herself, and this portrait session is a step in that direction.

“I felt mostly prepared. I still have this insecurity with my body size at the moment. I’ve been trying to lose weight, but still trying to find confidence with it regardless. So, I do feel like I was prepared in regard to preparing for the actual photo shoot. As far as working on myself to prepare myself for the photo shoot, I felt like I wasn't fully prepared, but I wanted to go through with it anyhow, despite my insecurities about my current weight, been on a weight loss journey again, and yeah, it just felt freeing.” – Elizabeth Parrish

Feeling Free and Alive: Elizabeth's Experience

The portrait session was more than just taking pictures for Elizabeth. It was like entering a different world, leaving behind the worries of everyday life. She felt like herself, immersed in the moment. This experience reminded her to seize opportunities and not let time slip away.

“It just felt freeing. And I felt more like myself, and I felt like I felt immersed a lot of the time once we got into it, and I just felt like I was in this whole other place, and I could forget about the stresses of life. And I'm just glad I was able to do this before more time passes and I kind of lose that opportunity.” – Elizabeth Parrish
